A Bible teaching church in Cave Creek, AZ

Lone Mountain Fellowship is pleased to have Pastor Bud Brown serving as our Transitional Senior Pastor - providing pulpit teaching and being an integral part of the Elder team since mid-2010.

He brings more than twenty-five years of pastoral ministry experience ranging from small rural churches, a variety of mid-sized churches in various locations throughout the Southwest, and a stint with one of the ten fastest growing churches in the United States. He has served as an intentional interim pastor, coached interim pastors, led seminars for experienced pastors considering interim ministry, and currently serves as the president of the Transition Ministries Group.

Brian Hodson - Elder Chairman

Brian Hodson Chairs our active board and doubles as Treasurer [perhaps we could not resist using his entrepreneurial skills].   Brian and Patti have two sons - and the pleasure of running a commercial business with one.   The Hodsons have embraced the many activities of the "outdoors" - even including golf.
Ken Lierman - Elder

A stalwart of the Board [and secretary] is Ken Lierman - with the support of his wife Jacqi.   Be free to ask them about the "other guy" in the picture - their posterchild  adult son [currently residing in the frozen north].   Ken is a communcations guy - both as a vocation [manages hi-tech linkage installations] and an avocation [worship team member and a great conversationalist].

Joe Cavanaugh - Elder

The newest member of the board, Joseph Cavanaugh, has been married to Noma for forty-seven years - six children, seven grandchildren. One distinctive is their extensive motor coach travel each year. Joe's our resident "engineer" [retired from IBM in the 90s - and currently employed by PayPal].

William Judd - Elder

One of the longest running members at LMF, William states that he embraces God’s presence and Spirit filling that always seems to be a part of our congregation.  “My life and that of my family has been forever changed by our attending here!”

The Judd’s, like many in America, have been struggling with life’s issues the past few years but have embraced God’s comfort, peace and guidance through it.  “I thank God for the struggles because we have grown closer to Him because of them.”

William and his wife Shelly have 2 sons.  Trevor is on the Boulder Creek High School JV Basketball Team and Colton, active in Boy Scouts, has become quite the Team Roper.
