While the people of LMF are carrying the Gospel to our “Jerusalem and Judea”, who is handling the “the uttermost…”?
One such couple is Ken and Noreen.These two folks have dedicated much of their lives to getting the Word in the hands of onepeople group of Papua New Guinea.For years following the initial translation, Ken has been a thought leader in establishing the right combination of Scriptural accuracy and usefulness of the Word in the culture – where people live their lives. His objective has always been communicating the simple Gospel of Jesus Christ, coupled with deep knowledge of the Father and the active work of the Holy Spirit, to people that would otherwise travel lost into eternity.Since completing the translation, Ken has taught the principles of Bible translation in the USA and South Korea to more than 300 translators. Noreen has completed professional certification – as an emotional caregiver to other missionaries that have made similar investments of their lives to the previously “unreached” people of His creation.
Ken returns to PNG this year for a period of renewal and refinement of that purpose.Please pray for his safety, energy – and for Noreen’s care in his absence
